Sacrament Preparation
First Reconciliation - Special Mass 11:30am in House of Mercy

Please keep our 2nd grade class and all the other children in the Parish
who are preparing to receive their First Reconciliation on December 13.
There will be a special mass this Sunday on Nov. 30 at 11:30am in our
House of Mercy (Community Center) with an emphasis on the families
and children preparing for the sacraments. All are welcome to worship
with us that day and then join us at the St. Nicholas Village!  

all students are also welcome to come join in worship.  Sign up sheet is
in front office.  For students who would like to participate in choir please
arrive at Community Center by 11am to practice.
Community Service Project
School Winter Drive in participation w/ UIW School of Nursing

Through Wednesday December 10th - Located at Front School Entrance
We encourage all families to help us in participating with UIW in the 4th
Annual Haven for Hope Courtyard Christmas Breakfast. They are asking for
the following items: new or gently used blankets, new socks or gently used
adult jeans, to be given during their annual breakfast for the homeless
residents of Haven for Hope. You can drop off the following items in our box
placed by our front school entrance.

Eighth Grade News
High School Placement Exam this Saturday

This Saturday, December 6th our 8th grade students will be taking their
High School Placement Exams. Each student will take their test
according to their Catholic High School of choice.  Please keep them in
your prayers as they prepare for this next great step in their lives. God’s
peace and wisdom be with you all!

New Tech Lab open - Virtual Deskop Infrastructure

We are excited to share that our new Technology lab is now up and
running with our new Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.  Teachers are
working on creating schedules so that all our students will have time in
our new Technology Lab. Our campus is one of the first in the
Archdiocese to take part in this new technology environment that will
give us a great foundation for the future. Our goal is to provide these
21st century learners with the tools they need to succeed as well as
enhance their individual gifts. Thanks to the support of our Parish and
School were able to accomplish this goal! God is good!
Class Parties

This year we have decided to have class Christmas parties. We are also
making a few changes that day and will have Early Release at 12pm. There
will not be After School Care that day as we will be having a Faculty
Christmas Luncheon. Please contact your room parent to find out how to
help plan and make their Christmas party great! There will be no free dress
this day as we will have School Mass that morning

Santa Pictures

On Tuesday, December 16th from 8:30am-11:30am we will be having
opportunities for pictures with Santa. Students will have a free dress day
with either Christmas colors and jeans or their Sunday’s best. There will be
a schedule sent home for parents who are interested in being in the photo
with their child. Cost for each photo will be $5 and photos will be distributed
by Friday the 19th.  More details to come along with order form.

Christmas Program

ll grades will be participating in our Christmas Program on Thursday,
December 18th at 7pm in the Community Center. More details to come
soon! We are looking forward to ending the year as a school family and
celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Sovior Jesus Christ!
Fall Fundraiser
Catholic Life Raffle Ticket Monday Deadline Friday 12/5

The Catholic Life Raffle ticket money is due only if you did not elect to
the money to your tuition. Ticket stubs will not be due until January.
Please contact the school office to request an extenion if needed.
